Alliraja Subhaskaran, who owns the Lyca Group, which has led to controversy in the country, arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (20). According to the announcement of Minister Bandula Gunawardena last week about the Channel Eye being leased to the Lyca Group on a short-term basis, this has led to his arrival.
Lyca, which is based in the UK, is currently conducting its operations in the South Asian region, including India and Sri Lanka. This group also owns the Jaffna team of the LPL since 2021.
