The cabinet has decided to appoint a four-member cabinet sub-committee to look into the gazette issued by the Sports Minister to suspend the previous Sri Lanka Cricket Board and appoint an interim board.
The President, who claims that he had not been notified of the appointment of an interim committee, called the Cabinet yesterday (06) to discuss the matter.
According to a decision taken there, Minister Ali Sabri, Tiran Alas, Manusha Nanayakkara, and Kanchana Wijesekara have been appointed as members. It is chaired by Ali Sabri.
