Unit 2 of the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant (NCPP) has experienced a breakdown following a technical error, the Power and Energy Ministry said.
However, there will be no power cuts due to this. A senior official from the NCPP said that three of the two plants are under repairs, and a technical fault had caused an error in the remaining.
