2025 Colombo: Amrak Ebek, a pioneering collaboration between Amrak Institute of Medical Sciences and Ebek Language Laboratories Private Limited, has officially launched its Cambridge Examination Center at the Durdans Hospital Auditorium. This initiative aims to elevate English language education across Sri Lanka by offering globally recognized certifications and programs designed to meet the demands of academic and professional excellence.
The launch event was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr. Arun Rajamani, Managing Director of Cambridge South Asia, Ranga Wimalasooriya, Executive Director of Amrak Institute of Medical Sciences, Rakshitha Tudawe, Founder of Amrak Institute of Medical Sciences, Aminda Tudawe, Executive Director of Durdans Hospital, Neslyn Johnson, COO at Ebek Language Laboratories, and Gobalakrishna Sreekanthan, Managing Director of Ebek Language Laboratories, alongside esteemed stakeholders from both Amrak and Ebek. The center will provide access to internationally accredited English assessments such as YLE, KET, PET, and Linguaskill, making Sri Lanka a hub for Cambridge English certifications.
Amrak Ebek’s mission is to address the gap between corporate skill requirements and academic achievements by delivering quality English language solutions to schools, colleges, government departments, and professionals. This initiative is backed by strategic collaborations with global leaders, including Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Specialist Language Courses (UK), and BookR Class (Hungary).
