Sri Lankan President Rejects Calls for International Inquiry into Easter Sunday Attacks
In an interview with a prominent German international broadcaster, President Ranil Wickremesinghe voiced strong objections to the allegations presented in a documentary aired by the British television network Channel 4.
He stressed that the Sri Lankan government had no plans to initiate an international investigation into any issue, including the Easter Sunday terror attacks. While acknowledging that certain individuals may have advocated for an international inquiry, he pointed out that such a request had not been formally presented by the parliament.
