306,934 people from 89,085 families have been affected by the arid weather conditions in Sri Lanka.
19 districts have been affected by the prevailing weather, according to the Disaster Management Centre.
The Jaffna district remains the most affected with 70,408 people suffering from the arid weather in the area.
49, 693 from the Ratnapura district, 33,549 from the Kurunegala district, and 29,508 from the Batticaloa district have also been affected.
